January 17th-19th 2020 in Auckland.
The University of Auckland Business School
Hack Aotearoa 2020 builds on the success of our 2019 event and will include a conference and healthcare datathon - the first event of its kind in New Zealand (NZ)!
Come and learn from MIT Critical Data Faculty and local and international experts about the opportunities of Data Science and AI for healthcare and then take part in the datathon!
During the datathon, attendees will form teams of health professionals, data scientists and enthusiasts (anyone else) passionate about healthcare, data analytics, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to answer clinical questions and health system challenges using NZ and international health datasets. These include an ACC, ANZICS and eICU (intensive care) datasets.
MIT Critical Data has led several health data science conferences and datathons to promote secondary use of routinely collected patient data. For Hack Aotearoa, we are engaging academic institutions, industry, and healthcare organisations across NZ.Advancing the Quadruple Aim is the overarching theme of the conference. Maori health equity, and the ethical use of data, are key event themes. Hack Aotearoa is an exciting opportunity to advance the digital health and data science landscape in Aotearoa.
We hope that you can join us!
Nga manaakitanga, The Hack Aotearoa Team!
